Sadie Lola

From bootlicking babes, undead love affairs to motorcycle girl gangs, mummification to unraveled burlesque– filmmaker Sadie Lola creates the kind of taboo film that is rough, dirty and timelessly mean. An obsession with trashy 80’s slasher films and pulp erotica pervades her work with a focus on classic suspense and visceral detail.

Sadie Lola has worked as a director, videographer and special effects artist for 25 years in over 150 short films and music videos. Her early works, shot in 16mm and Super 8, laid the foundation for an ageless style and knack for vintage aesthetic as she continues to bring an analogue style to the digital world. After nine years at Kink.com and the production of over 900 femdom films, Lola recently teamed up with Kink’s own Fivestar and together the two run Filth Syndicate, an adult film production project. Before devoting her life to creating pornography, Lola curated music video compilations on the Kill Rock Stars label and produced/directed feature horror films: Bad Date (2012) and Charm (2002). She also toured internationally with her punk band, The Husbands.
